    The 30 Day Notice Account is available to businesses holding or controlling client monies as stipulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s Client Assets Sourcebook (CASS).

    • Minimum balance must not fall below GBP £100,000 or USD $100,000.
    • Maximum balance must not exceed GBP £500,000,000/USD $500,000,000.
    • We will agree with you the initial variable interest rate that will apply to your account at account opening.
    • Your Lloyds Bank representative will confirm to you the current monthly variable interest rate when you open your 30 Day Notice Account.

    • Receive a monthly interest income stream in a positive interest rate environment.
  • Risks

    • Your funds are committed for a minimum period of 30 calendar days.
    • Your financial position must allow you to be able to cover any cash flow requirements you may have whilst the notice period elapses. The 30 Day Notice Account cannot be terminated except where Notice has been given in accordance with the notice period.
    • The amount of interest paid may go down as well as up.
  • Deposits/Withdrawals

    • Further deposits can be made into your 30 Day Notice deposit account up to a maximum balance of GBP £500,000,000/USD $500,000,000.
    • Written confirmation of account opening will be sent to you in respect of each 30 Day Notice Account opened.
    • To withdraw funds from the account you must give us the required notice which operates for the duration of the notice period.
    • Withdrawal amount must not be less than GBP £50,000 or USD $50,000.
    • The deposit cannot be terminated except where 30 days’ notice has been given.
    • If the date originally requested by you for the withdrawal is not a Business Day then the next Business Day will be the Withdrawal Date.

  • Interest Rates

    • We will agree with you the initial variable interest rate that will apply to your account at account opening.
    • Your Lloyds Bank representative will confirm to you the current monthly variable interest rate when you open your 30 Day Notice Account.
    • You will start to earn interest on the funds in your 30 Day Notice Account from the date we receive cleared funds from you.
  • How much can I deposit in a 30 Day Notice Account?

    You can deposit a minimum of GBP £100,000 or USD $100,000 and a maximum of GBP £500,000,000/USD $500,000,000 into your account.

    What is the minimum balance?

    The minimum balance must not fall below GBP £100,000/USD $100,000.

    What currency can I open a 30 Day Notice Account in?

    The 30 Day Notice Account is available in Sterling and US Dollars only.

    How much access do I have to my money?

    You can withdraw money from your account by giving 30 calendar days notice. This should be done in writing to your relationship manager.

    When is interest paid on the 30 Day Notice Account?

    Interest is paid monthly into your nominated account.

    How do I know what my ongoing monthly interest rate will be?

    Rates are set monthly on the 15th of each month (or next bank working day). If your interest rate changes you will be notified in your monthly statement.

    What is the eligibility criteria for the 30 Day Notice Account?

    The 30 Day Notice Account is available to businesses holding or controlling client monies as stipulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s Client Assets Sourcebook (CASS).

  • The deposit is not covered by the Jersey Bank Depositors Compensation Scheme, the Isle of Man Depositors Compensation Scheme, or the Guernsey Banking Deposit Compensation Scheme.
