  • Simon Prescott - Head of Islands Commercial Banking

    Simon Prescott is Head of Island's Commercial Banking, International Wealth Division, based in Jersey and responsible for Lloyds Banking Groups commercial customers who either operate in the Channel Islands of Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney, the Isle of Man or have a requirement for international banking facilities.

    Simon has worked for the group for over 38 years, predominantly in the Commercial & Corporate arena, having previously worked in the UK branch network before moving offshore. He's an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a member of the Institute of Directors, and involved with a number of professional organisations in the Islands, including the Jersey Bankers Association, Jersey Chamber of Commerce and similar.

    Justin leads the property lending activity in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. Justin has worked for the group for over 25 years, mainly in the Corporate sector, and managed property investors and developers. Justin has extensive experience of the UK property market and supported a variety of schemes for property companies.

    Stephen Ogborn - Head of Commercial Banking, Jersey

    Stephen heads the Commercial Banking Team in Jersey responsible for all Corporate and Fiduciary relationships. He has managed a wide range of client relationships in his time with the Group in the City and the South of England. He is an experienced Financier complimented by his background in financial markets and his AMCT Diploma in Treasury.

    Sowmya joined the bank in 2002, and worked within the Retail Banking and Commercial Banking sectors before moving to Jersey in 2007. Sowmya manages relationships with local Trust businesses within the Fiduciary sector.

    Oliver has over 7 years Treasury experience in the International Money Markets. In that time he has developed strong relationships with the Fiduciary and Banking sectors in Jersey and Guernsey. Oliver’s primary aim is to liaise with our Fiduciary and Banking client base to develop and deepen our local profile.

    Loretta Le Roy - Relationship Manager

    Loretta has over eleven years experience within the finance industry. During this period she has worked in client relationship management and administration roles. She is a Chartered Member of the CISI and has successfully completed various professional examinations to include the Securities Institute Certificate in Securities, the ACI Dealing Certificate and the Certificate for Financial Advisors. Loretta’s current role is to liaise with and provide solutions to our Fiduciary and Banking client base.

    Wayne Whitnell - Relationship Manager

    Wayne has worked in the finance industry for 37 years and undertaken posts in London, Hong Kong and latterly in Jersey as Head of Treasury. Wayne dealt in the Wholesale Money Markets and Arbitrage Markets. His former roll was Deputy Director of Structured Deposits linking clients’ investment requirements to various asset classes whilst protecting capital.  He has a wealth of Treasury experience and has obtained the ACI Dealing Certificate. Having recently joined the Group as the Business Development Manager he is involved in promoting client contact and tasked with building the Bank’s lending book.  Wayne has built extensive relationships within the Fiduciary and Banking sectors.

    Jo heads the Local Commercial Banking Team in Jersey. Jo and her Team work closely with the local business community to develop a strong working relationship with individual portfolios of local customers. With over 25 years banking experience Jo has a wealth of knowledge and expertise within the local business market, and previously worked with the banks trust & intermediary client relationships.

    Mark has over 25 years service with the Group, & has worked in Commercial Banking for the last 14 years. Cert PFS qualified, Mark has a broad knowledge of banking services and has been successful in developing strong relationships with many people throughout the local community.

    Linda has over 20 years experience with the Group having worked in both the Personal and Commercial sides of the business. Linda has extensive experience in corporate banking and currently maintains a portfolio of local customers and business professionals.

    Robbie Lander - Relationship Manager

    Robbie has worked for the group since 2004 initially working in Retail moving to Commercial Banking in 2010. Robbie started a Relationship Managers role in October 2013 after working closely with our Commercial Credit Team. He is responsible for a portfolio of existing local Commercial customers who he works closely with to ensure they are able to achieve their maximum potential. He is also keen to work with new customers where the bank can assist with their needs.

    Julie has over 12 years banking experience with the Group and joined the Commercial Team over 10 years ago. Julie is the first point of contact for a segment of the local business customers together with the Overseas Company Clubs, and our Charity, Clubs and Society accounts. Julie handles all new business enquiries, account opening and supports the local Relationship Managers within the team.

    Osheen joined the Jersey Commercial Banking Team in 2011, having been a key member of the Corporate Migration Team. Osheen has over 12 years experience working with the Group, and maintains a portfolio of local customers, Overseas Company Clubs and Charities, Clubs and Society accounts.

    Jo has worked for the bank for over 12 years and has a wealth of knowledge within various departments. Jo handles all new business enquires and account opening and assists the Relationship Managers within the team as well as managing the overseas company club and charity accounts.
